As people born with HIV, we’ve carried truths the world often refuses to see; just as many in our LGBTQ+ family have had to fight to be seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. We don’t believe anyone should be shamed or punished for existing. Our identities are not separate! Our struggles are intertwined! Right now, trans people, especially Black and Brown trans folks, are under attack. These are not isolated policies or incidents, they’re part of a larger system trying to erase our communities. But like dandelions breaking through concrete, we continue to rise.
