💚🍂The Anderson Elementary Green Team celebrated the season with a “Spooky Nature Science” event during their October meeting, featuring special guests from Hickory Knolls and the University of Illinois Extension program. Students met a corn snake 🐍 and wolf spider🕷️ learned about composting, enjoyed popcorn🍿 made from corn grown in the school garden, and entered a raffle to win one of seven pumpkins 🎃 grown in the Anderson garden. The event was a perfect blend of science, sustainability, and seasonal fun—showcasing the Green Team’s commitment to hands-on learning and environmental stewardship.😄 #D303Learns #AndersonGreenTeam #SpookyNatureScience #Halloween2025 (fb)
