Phase One of Beneath the Service's Women Veterans Leadership Program focused on the foundations of knowing yourself as a leader. We are now shifting from the individual to the group to understand how we shape the way others respond to us. We're still buzzing from yesterday’s incredible virtual session. Our sincerest thanks to Dr. Debra Noumair from Teachers College, Columbia University for facilitating "Leadership in Context: What got you here won't get you there." Dr. Noumair, your insights were invaluable, encouraging our women veterans to reflect, and ultimately, lead with even greater intention. We learned how being adaptive and raising our social awareness can help us thrive in new leadership contexts. And to all the phenomenal women of Cohort 8 who participated: your engagement, enthusiasm, and willingness to dive deep into the conversation made the session come alive.
