Last week, our summer coding campers did something powerful. Over lunch, we worked with them to build and polish their LinkedIn profiles. Some were brand new to the platform. Others already had accounts but hadn’t highlighted the incredible work they’ve done as students in Urban Coders Guild. With fresh headshots and growing confidence, they shared their stories, added their technical skills, and began showing the world who they are and what they’re capable of. Why does this matter? Because Tulsa is a federally designated Tech Hub, with big goals for 2030. And these students are part of that future. We’re not just teaching them how to code. At Urban Coders Guild, we teach middle and high school students how to build apps, websites, and games—but just as importantly, we help them build confidence, courage, community, and a sense of purpose.
