Parks and green spaces have drainage routes that, when identified and maintained successfully, aid stormwater to be more efficiently controlled. This positively affects environmental conservation and provides a sustainable approach to diminish flood risk and sustain quality of life. Willow Fork Park in Katy is a strong example of how parks in our region can be designed with both recreation and resilience in mind.
