✔️ Today at Mount Pleasant High School, our Speak Out for Animals Club focused on learning about two of Africa’s most iconic animals: elephants and lions. ✔️ These species play vital roles in the ecosystems they inhabit and offer us important lessons about wildlife conservation. ✍ Nuggets to Remember 🔴 🐘 Elephants use their trunks like hands and can show emotions such as joy and grief. 🔴 Lion prides are led by related females, while males defend the territory. 🔴 Both species face risks from habitat loss and illegal hunting.
