Meet Luzmariana, DSA - Doral class of 2018 🦈 ✏️ Florida International University 📚 Marketing & International Business 📍 Miami Resident 🤝 Beauty Business Owner & Professional Makeup Artist Luzmariana started her journey at DSA with determination and patience. As an 8th grade student, new to the country and language, she was faced with many challenges. Moving from Italy was no small change, but with the support of caring teachers and classmates, she adapted and began to thrive. Moving into high school, Luzmariana immersed herself in academics and extracurriculars. From choir to theatre, to National Honors Society, and even serving on the first DSA prom committee, she truly loved to be involved. She even competed in the Biznovator program, where she pitched her own business idea rooted in her love for makeup artistry. That experience planted the seed for what would later grow into her own company. Through challenges, Luzmariana built resilience in DSA’s environment, which supported her and gave her space to grow. Graduating from DSA in 2018, she went on to earn a degree in Marketing and International Business from Florida International University; all while pursuing her passion for the beauty industry. After earning a college degree, an esthetician’s license, and gaining extensive experience with well-known brands, Luzmariana launched her own makeup line, Bidiza. She develops lipsticks and lip glosses and will soon expand into lip liners. Now, Luzmariana continues to build her business while balancing a career that is as dynamic as it is inspiring. She has traveled, worked with designers, and connected with countless professionals in the beauty world. She continues to embrace challenges, lean on her faith, and pursue her passions wholeheartedly. Her journey is a reminder that resilience, creativity, and dedication can open doors to amazing opportunities.
