In addition to NGBH's bi-weekly Friday volunteer days, we are offering 4 Saturday sessions at the gardens starting this weekend, July 5, from 8-11 am. Choose from a variety of tasks and meet like-minded community members while helping to maintain our gardens as a public resource. No advance sign-up required. Questions? We feel many people share our environmental concerns but there are few opportunities for the public to see a garden that has been created organically incrementally and one that displays the beauty value and appropriateness of native plants. Habitat loss is often cited as the most crucial reason plants and animals become endangered.
