🎉✨ Celebrating 10 Years of Service with the Kiwanis Club of Laguna–Elk Grove! ✨🎉 On September 22, 2015, 16 passionate neighbors came together with one goal: to make a difference in Elk Grove. From that spark, the Kiwanis Club of Laguna–Elk Grove was born. 💙💛 Today, our club has grown to 28 dedicated members, and together we’ve spent the last 10 years serving kids, families, and our community in amazing ways! Here are just a few highlights of what we’ve accomplished: 🙌 Sponsored Circle K at CSU Sacramento, an Aktion Club for developmentally disabled adults, and 9 local Key Clubs to grow tomorrow’s leaders. 🎒 Donated backpacks and school supplies for EGUSD students in need. 🎁 Filled holiday gift bags for chemo patients, foster youth, and unhoused youth. 🥪 Made 1,300+ sandwiches every year for the Teen Center and donated sporting goods for their mobile rec van. 🧸 Sewed and donated 400 Pediatric Trauma Dolls to help kids at Kaiser’s Trauma Center. 💻 Donated Chromebooks to support autistic students. ⚾ Hosted the End of Year BBQ for Champion’s Baseball Teams. 🎣 Brought families together for a free magnet fishing day with CSD. 📚 Built and maintain a Little Free Library at Florin Elementary School. 🎓 Awarded scholarships for EGUSD foster youth. 🛌 Making blankets for kids, ensuring that they won't be cold. …and so much more through volunteer service and donations to incredible local causes like Elk Grove Food Bank, HART, Uplift People of Elk Grove, Mama Bears Against Cancer, and Kiwanis Family House. ❤️ For 10 years, our Kiwanis family has shown up with compassion, rolled up our sleeves, and worked together to help kids and strengthen our community.
