Key points: ☝️One hamster per cage. 🚫 Pet store cages usually don’t meet the requirements. 📐 Minimum of 700 Sq inches for a female syrain hamster. 📏Minimum 8 inches of bedding. 🛏️ Aspen or paper based bedding. Never pine! 💧We use both a water bowl and a water bottle to give the hamster its choice. Ruby seems to only use the bowl but we still leave her access to the bottle just in case. 🫥 Should have at least one hidey hut. 🎡The saucer wheels and metal wheels are generally not recommended for hamsters. 📦 Lots of stuff to play in and chew on. Pull tape off of delivery boxes. I didn’t show this in the video but I want to mention the lid for this bin has been altered. The middle was cut out of it and wire mesh added.
