On 21 June Hieromonk Silouan (Brown) and Priest Christopher Kizito traveled to an orphanage that specializes in caring for orphans with serious health issues such as HIV, Sickle Cell and blindness. We did prayers for healing for many of the people annointed them with Holy oil and introduced them to the Orthodox Church. (fb)

Some beautiful moments at St Mary of Egypt Refuge Center! Father Antipas was called to Saint Irene’s at Maseno to baptize a new soul into the Holy Church. We give glory to God for the growing flocks of the Kakamega Deanery. Meanwhile, back at the mission in Gem, the faithful gathered to learn hymns and fellowship together under the guidance of Papathia Irene, Father Antipas’ wife.
