Albatrosses have interesting breeding habits! 🏝️ They are famous for their quirky courtship dances and lifelong partnerships, but did you know in some species, such as the Laysan Albatross, same-sex partnerships can form. In general, males and females have equal nest responsibility, with partners leaving for up to three weeks at a time in search of food. 🐟 Laysan Albatrosses lay one egg per year as it takes around nine months to raise a chick.
