In 2015, Cameroon’s Digital Strategic Plan revealed that only 4% of its population was proficient in digital methods. To combat that statistic, Port Bell Academy (PBA) offers professional education and training for women in Douala, Cameroon. PBA’s technological and digital programs include supplementary education for high school students, continuous skills training for working professionals of all ages and stages, and an outreach program for those who have limited resources. Through PBA programs, hundreds of women enter the digital universe and learn about its incredible opportunities every year.
