The urban farm at the top of Garfield in urban Pittsburgh. We grow food for our mobile farmers market, the Valley View food pantry and a few local restaurants. Garfield Community Farm exists to serve the neighborhood with fresh, organic produce and to create an ecologically healthy urban farm. Garfield Community Farm strives to strives to advance food sovereignty, environmental justice, and neighborhood resiliency in the Garfield community. It does this by increasing access to fresh produce and educational opportunities, and by demonstrating ecological restoration through urban agriculture in the local neighborhood.
