Yume Africa

Yume Africa is a 501c3 US tax-exempt non-profit organization headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with the purpose of supporting and promoting education among children and youth in Africa. The organization was established in December 2020 by a group of Africans from the diaspora.

Mission and Vision

• Mission Statement: To support and promote the education of children and youth in Africa, thereby fighting poverty, fostering economic growth, and preparing the leaders of tomorrow.
• Vision: Every kid in Africa has a bright future through education.

Programs and Activities

Yume Africa operates several programs aimed at enhancing access to education for underprivileged children, particularly those affected by crises in Africa. Their initiatives include:

• Sponsoring Program: Providing essential resources such as books, school supplies, and tuition fees for children in need.
• Tutoring Program: Offering educational support to help children develop foundational skills like reading, writing, and basic numeracy.
• Refugee Support: Assisting refugee children in accessing educational opportunities.

Yume Africa's efforts focus on enabling children to attend school from kindergarten to high school, which is critical for developing skills necessary for higher education or employment.
