It’s been a sad month here at NKLB. Precious Rocky who had gone to his forever home a few years back passed over the rainbow bridge. He was a smart old guy who could even jump through a hoop on demand! His parents were the best and he received all the best care and love he could have ever wished for! We miss you buddy♥️ (fb)

My heart is broken today after learning one of our alumni Willy AKA Big Willy has passed over the other side of the rainbow bridge😞 💔 His mom was so good to him! He gained many more years of a great life because we were able to take him in years ago. I had the privilege of petsitting for him since he got his forever home and will always cherish the extra time with him. This is what rescue looks like and the reason we do it..and it’s also why rescue hurts so much at times. But Willy is worth the missing and the heartache..see you over that bridge someday Big Willy! ♥️ (fb)
