Next Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 4-6:30 pm we're hosting two free art workshops at Gresham Library! Artist Ka’ila Farrell Smith will facilitate a community gathering to support her installation at the new East County Library! The gathering will be a guided event to produce cordage and stencils. Please direct any questions to Carmen Petit at carmenpetit11@gmail.com. Interested in contributing to Paula Champagne’s artwork at the new East County Library? Inspired by one of Paula’s works, "Healing Hands," participants will create works that centers their own hands intertwined with nature, symbolizing healing and kinship with the land, and providing inspiration for the artwork Paula will create at the new library. Additionally, folks can enter into a raffle to win an art print from Paula or a book donated by the library. Lastly, folks have the chance to get their portrait created by Paula. (fb)
