Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Deanna Scoppettuolo This year marks six years of teaching at Navigator Academy of Leadership for Mrs. Scoppettuolo! As a kindergarten teacher, she has welcomed countless Apollos and their families, setting the stage for a lifelong love of learning. Here’s what Mrs. Scoppettuolo shared about her experience: “From my very first day, Navigator has had a strong family vibe that makes it feel like home. Walking through the halls and seeing the smiles on both students' and adults’ faces is heartwarming. Teaching can be challenging, but the passion in these hallways is undeniable. It’s clear why we’re all here, our purpose shines through in each other and in the eyes of our students. As a parent, I love the strong foundations, thoughtful curriculum, and the Leader in Me program that Navigator offers. You can see a spark in the students as they grow into leaders of their own learning and set meaningful goals for themselves. I teach kindergarten, and it’s such a joy to welcome new students and families each year. I take great pride in helping parents feel at ease, knowing their children are in caring, capable hands. Every day at Navigator reminds me why I chose this path to inspire, support, and grow alongside our students.
