Flu season has arrived, and AbleLight is dedicated to supporting the overall health and well-being of our team members and the individuals with developmental disabilities that we support. This month, our nursing team in Oregon helped set up two "Flu Fighters" vaccine clinics for our employees and people we support! These clinics made it easier for the people we support to get access to the flu vaccine in a comfortable and supportive environment. People with developmental disabilities are often at higher risk for serious health complications that come with the flu, making this especially important for them. We're proud of the Oregon team for putting these wonderful events together for our employees and those we support! 💙 (fb)
During Direct Support Professional Recognition Week in September, Rosie was nominated for and won the Tarrytown Person of the Year Award! Rosie, a DSP in Minnesota, was nominated by her Lead DSP, Sue. Rosie received a plaque and recognition for incredible achievement!
