Remembering Simon- Simon Howl what a wonderful life you had with your forever family. Simon left his family on May 4th, and his sister Hannah Banana left the day prior. We can’t imagine losing two beloved seniors in less than 48 hours. We are grateful to @cmeiken and her husband for falling in love with tiny Simon (affectionately called Simon Howl). We were tagged in “2022” on a FB post (scroll through to see photo) a senior Yorkie being given away for $20 on Craiglist. We ran out the front door with Rex (RIP), and hoped into the car as soon as we had secured an email from the family. Simon was a love from the beginning and everyone he met loved and adored him. Simon loved his big beautiful yard, snuggles, couch time and most of all his Mom❤️ He had a lot of medical concerns (dental nightmare, collapsing trachea and heart disease). His family was his foster and fell head-over- heels with him, they couldn’t imagine saying goodbye and adopted him. This mighty little 4# boy loved every second of his new life and his family was by his side all the way until the end. We were incredibly saddened to hear of his passing and Hannah’s too. We however, are incredibly grateful that he found his forever home and that he never wanted for anything. Simon we know you are howling up at the 🌈 bridge with Hannah causing so much trouble. You deserve to be a happy puppy, healthy and meeting new friends, until you see your family once more. Sprocket is one of our super senior boys that we put our hands and paws up for in 2020! He was at one of our local partnered shelters, when we saw his photo we couldn’t look back! He’s been living the good life ever since, has wonderful humans (mom and dad who adore him a lot and extended family) fur siblings (felines not pictured) and fur friends❤️. He’s the cutest little guy who recently received a super short summer groom to keep him comfortable because all that muppet hair gets 🔥.
