Lowbrow Opera Collective is a nonprofit regional theater company revitalizing opera performance by presenting new works that are accessible to the modern audience. Our vision is for opera to thrive as an evolving art form by telling new and relevant stories to diverse audiences. Our Values Expanding the Genre of Opera We believe in prioritizing new works that are accessible and approachable which to us means that opera can be unpretentious and honest. This requires developing intimate relationships between audiences and performers.
