Since 2019, Research-Aid Networks has worked to turn research into real-world impact. During the pandemic, Vicky van der Togt played a vital role in expanding this work, and amplifying grassroots and patient-led voices. As we refocus in 2025 on supporting community and humanitarian organizations in using research to achieve their goals, Vicky’s role within the organization will be concluding. Recognizing that the organization’s new direction no longer fully aligns with her core expertise and professional goals, which focus on community organizing, and providing structural, strategic, and organizational support to advocates, (grassroots) community groups, and non-profits. We’re deeply grateful for Vicky’s contributions and wish her the very best in her next chapter. Read our full statement below. (fb)
