Club members Katie Parker and Dorothy Verdone were glad to be able to present a check to Matt Latham, Director of the Ramsey Free Public Library. The Woman's Club and the library have a long partnership -- the Club founded the first Ramsey Library and donated the showcases in the entrance to its current building, and the library has helped us produce buttons and posters for our events. Thanks to everyone who helped make our Apple Festival a success last weekend. Before visitors to the Farmers’ Market arrived to sample our yummy cake, members who helped set the stage were Betty Green, Pat Bernius (behind Kathy Safai), Janet Klein, Dorothy Verdone, Tina Pellicciari , Toni Small, Katie Parker and Pat Kelly. The support of the Farmers' Market gives us a big boost as we work to help local charities. (fb)
