Earlier this month, Adam Carbullido, director of policy and advocacy at AAPCHO, joined The Center for Asian Pacific American Women (CAPAW) at their 30th anniversary conference & gala in San Francisco. Adam was a speaker for a session on “How to Organize: Making Sense of External Environment to Run Your Non-Profit” which discusses the ups and downs of navigating policy and advocacy and how to best serve communities during the current environment. Dr. Thu Quach, board president at AAPCHO, and Julia Liou of Asian Health Services and AAPCHO Member, were also at the conference as speakers fora fireside chat on the “State of Mental Health”. #AANHPIhealth (fb)

Featured Resources AAPCHO Community Institutional Review Board AAPCHO developed an inhouse Community Institutional Review Board IRB which helps ensure that AAPCHO or AAPCHO Memberinitiated research is relevant to member communities and is conducted with high standards of research integrity. AAPCHOs Community IRB currently only reviews applications from AAPCHO Members due to limited resources and capacity.
