We are thankful for the kind and capable team from New Leaf. Project Manager Jacob Bevill and members of his team offered to volunteer their time recently to help with some of our landscaping needs. New Leaf is a special not-for-profit organization that provides employment for adults with disabilities, based locally in Oak Harbor here on Whidbey Island. They can provide grounds maintenance, janitorial, stocking, and food/galley services. Check them out if you ever need any of those services! We receive many compliments about the condition of our trails and facilities, though in a constantly shedding forest environment that requires a lot of perpetual work behind the scenes.
