For you, BomBASStic. A beautiful tribute led by one of our vet skaters, Jennaration Wrecks. It was hard to go on to play in our last home team bout with everything that happened on Saturday, but we know that’s exactly what BomBASStic would’ve wanted. Thank you to the community members and past teammates that have reached out and have offered love and comfort in this time of unspeakable tragedy. (fb)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that in the early morning of September 27th, one of our teammates, Colleen “BomBASStic” tragically lost her life. BomBASStic was a teammate of unwavering kindness and peaceful strength on LCRD. From the moment she joined, she became an irreplaceable part of our community. We will miss her presence, warmth, and smile she brought to everything she did with LCRD. Our hearts are with her family and friends, and we will honor her memory in the best way we know how. Lilac City Roller Derby About Us Who are we. We are Spokanex27s Roller Derby Team. Lilac City Roller Derby is Spokane Washingtons only 501c3 WFTDA certified flat track roller derby league. Founded in 2006 as the Lilac City Roller Girls LCRD has grown from a small group of women to a league that supports two WFTDA gendered teams a mens team an open gender team and a motivated group of new skaters pushing themselves to learn the skills necessary to play fullcontact roller derby.
