Eden Housing is excited to share that Mitchell Park Place will be accepting rental applications starting Monday, July 7, 2025. Located at 525 East Charleston Road in Palo Alto, Mitchell Park Place will have 50 new affordable homes for individuals and households earning up to 60% of the area median income. The community will offer studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units. Twenty-five homes are reserved for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Twenty-four homes will be for the general population, and one unit is reserved for an on-site manager. After this date, applications will be accepted for the waitlist. ICYMI, in April, as part of our 2025 Volunteer Appreciation Awards, we honored the incredible individuals who help make our mission possible—including Mayor Fred Keeley, a staunch supporter of affordable housing and the recipient of our “Civic Leader” award. He recently mobilized ample support for the Workforce Housing Affordability Act, which will raise approximately $5 million annually to increase the supply of workforce housing in Santa Cruz.
