Pleased to publish Planetary Gig Talk podcast #141 with amazing guitarist and philosopher John Tinger! Jefferson Glassie met John at Wooten Woods, at the Spring Clean Up, a couple years ago. He is a great guitar player, very inspirational and improvisational. John, Roy Wooten, and Glassie played a couple of Concerts for Humanity last year in Tennessee. This is a great conversation about life, vibration, music, and lots of stuff! Perhaps most importantly, John had focal dystonia (which affects many musicians) and cured himself of it! We had a great time doing some Music for Democracy with Sparky and Rhonda Lynn Rucker, Anni Beach and Jam Pak, and yours truly, sponsored by the Planetary Gigs Society. We talked about how powerful music is and how important during times of national trauma. We played a few songs, including two versions of the classic Which Side Are You On? It's important for musicians and artists to stand up and help lead the way with inspiration and good vibration to lead to more coherence and harmony in society. We had some technical difficulties and didn't start the recording on time, but captured most of the fun. The performances by Jam Pak kids were amazing and so inspiring too! (fb)
