Fostering UNITY is closed today in honor of Juneteenth. Today, we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the ongoing fight for equality. Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved people in Texas—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. At Fostering UNITY, we are committed to building a world where every child is safe, valued, and free. That vision begins with acknowledging the past, standing for justice in the present, and working together for a better future. May today be a day of reflection, education, and hope. Fostering Unity Programs 01 Youth Support Empowering youth of all identities experiencing foster care or who have been adopted with targeted services to ensure longterm success and placement stability even beyond foster care. Available To Youth Experiencing Foster Care Youth in Extended Foster Care Former Foster Youth Adopted Youth Youth in Guardianship 02 Caregiver Support Enhancing placement stability and reunification by providing realtime support and family strengthening through a robust network of peers and organizations.
