The team at MusicFest Northwest hopes you and your families are having a wonderful and restful summer! 🎹🌊🌞 Over here, we have been working hard at our efforts to organize the next great MusicFest event. At this time, we are at an inflection point, as many arts organizations are, and we need our creative and collective minds to come together and work out a plan to ensure MFNW perpetuates for many more years. If you have engaged with us in the past as a participant, teacher, volunteer, adjudicator, or supporter, please consider joining us for a very important meeting about MFNW's future. Information following: 📍Monday, July 14 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm 🎶Location: Steinway Piano Gallery (13418 E Nora Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA 99216) Transparently, MusicFest Northwest costs about $180K per year to run as it did this year. The last three years have seen incredible growth, energy and excitement all around, culminating in the celebration of our 80th year with over 1000 participations! However, at present, we do not have the funds to continue in the same format into 2026. Our goal is always to provide a community experience to engage young creatives of all kinds in the Inland Northwest region, and we would deeply appreciate your thoughts in our planning and potential restructuring efforts. We have received numerous letters from parents, teachers and participants who love the festival and have shared specific moments that made an impact. We know MusicFest provides an experience beyond measure - so let's meet and talk through where we are, and where we can go from here.
