Introducing Sarah, our newest volunteer! 🤍 Sarah has demonstrated her passion for helping others in a variety of ways over the last decade. She holds a degree in Criminal Justice, works as a freelance social media manager and content writer, and has volunteered with various organizations. In this new role, she is excited to use her interest in research to make a personal difference by helping the organization connect caregivers with valuable resources more efficiently and effectively. Meet Jorden, our newest intern! 💜 Here's what she has to say: "I’m a dedicated mom to three amazing kids with one more on the way. Two of my children are autistic, one of whom is nonverbal, and they continue to inspire my strength, patience, and advocacy every single day. Right after high school, I began my journey in care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), driven by a passion for helping others in their most vulnerable moments. Currently, I’m pursuing a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology, combining my love for understanding the human mind with my commitment to justice. My goal is to become a victims advocate, providing support and a voice to those who need it most, while I work toward my ultimate dream of earning a PhD and becoming a criminal psychologist. Through it all, I strive to be a source of strength, compassion, and unwavering support both for my family and for the communities I serve." (fb)
