Dr Joe is our dental partner in Cape Coast. The days we bring him kids are quite busy but he works extremely hard to get them all seen. On Tuesday our volunteer @theriverlaughed took 19 kids to him. He was able to provide 19 cleanings, 15 fillings and 2 extractions all while also teaching @theriverlaughed some new dental hygienist skills 🎉💕. Today 25 kids went to the optometrist. Most have allergies and needed eye drops, some have a bacterial infections, others needed glasses, protective eyewear, and further checkups in a couple weeks. One girl is showing early signs of alterations in her retina. So many kids helped by all our many supporters.
