Pastor Timothy feom Cornerstone Ministries writes this report: Yesterday, we had a joint meeting for three churches in Lengusaka, Samburu. The majority of those who attended were women—over 70 in number—while only a few men were present. We discovered that many of these women, who have never been to school, have greatly benefited from the use of audio Bibles. We also had the opportunity to distribute 25 Samburu Bibles to those who are able to read. To strengthen their spiritual growth, we helped them organize themselves into smaller Bible study groups with the aim of reaching even more people for Christ. Please pray for these women, especially those living in very remote parts of our country, that God may provide for their needs. Microfinance initiatives have proven to be very helpful, as they offer long-term and sustainable support. Also, pray that more men in these regions will be drawn to the church and join in the work of the Kingdom. (fb)
