Don’t forget, this Saturday 10/11: Fun family event! Friends of Texas Wildlife’s Critter Classroom for October will be Pumpkins & ‘Possums, a unique evening event, on Saturday, October 11 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Come out and meet some (not-so) spooky animals! Our educational ambassador animals would love to visit with you. Barred owl, vulture, barn owl, screech owls, snake, skunk, and opossum. Make a craft to take home. Lots of fun games too. Please note this event is located at our Education Center, 29816 Dobbin Hufsmith Road, Magnolia. No advance tickets needed/pay admission when you arrive. Fun costumes encouraged! In addition to this being an educational outreach program (which we consider a vital part of our mission), it is also a small fundraising opportunity to help us continue to serve our community. We receive no funding; we are wholly-dependent on donations and fundraising to remain open and able to care for the many wildlife animals we assist. (fb)

Giving Wildlife A Second Chance Friends of Texas Wildlife supports the rehabilitation of native Texas wildlife and promotes coexistence of wildlife and people through education. Help Us Help Them What We Do Friends of Texas Wildlife is a group of trained and permitted volunteers who provide care for injured displaced and orphaned wildlife in Montgomery and surrounding Counties. We are the only wildlife rescue group based in Montgomery County with rehabbers permitted by U.
