Last month, GSMD held the General Board of Assistants Meeting in San Antonio, TX. This year, members were able to meet and reconnect with their Mayflower cousins, attend committee meetings and informative presentations, and go on local historical tours to the Alamo and the National Museum of Pacific Wars. Members of the Governor General's 1620 club were invited to a special invite-only event where Lisa Pennington presented the GSMD Pilgrim Academic Research Award for 2025 to Blaine Bettinger, Ph.D., J.D., and founder of the Genetic Genealogist. Next year, GSMD Congress will take place in Plymouth, MA.
