She was scheduled for this Friday, yet has to cancel or push back if funds are not raised. Pushing back is not good. She is in pain and the situation is getting worse. They will remove all five tumors, perform full biopsies, perform the entropion eye surgery she needs, provide all meds, antibiotics and aftercare for under $750! That is a miracle offer from her vet. The attached estimate shows low to high but doctor says it will be on low side and may even be lower. They allowed her to schedule surgery to give time to raise funds. She is scheduled for 8/12. Chocolate came off the e-list in Georgetown last year and made her way to a loving new family with a new doggo pal that depends on her, and her own little girl. A few weeks ago, she had mysterious lumps appear quickly on her underbelly and her hip. They were instructed to watch it and let them know if it changed. It did change and they are desperately needing answers. They are fearing the worst and have all been in tears awaiting the appointment tomorrow morning to see the vet for an evaluation. They are not sure if she will need surgery to remove them and run a biopsy, or if they will have to face the worst news possible. They know tomorrow morning at 10am 🕙. They have kept in touch knowing we love Chocolate and what she means to this family. She got them through some tough times. She is Hannah’s whole world. The family wants her to be comfortable and if surgery to remove any risks and keep her here are possible, they will do it. They reached out desperately today asking for any help we can give. We are not in any place where we can financially help, yet we refuse to say no. She is one of sweetest WAZ dogs. I am putting this plea out to our donors and followers to help this family save their baby Chocolate if it is an option. They will know in the morning. 🚨 One last try! He Is NOT safe! Foster or Adopt me! 🐾 Let me tell you about this cutie pie! Buddy, a boxer/mastiff mix, is 4/5 years old and 80 pounds. 🤭 Buddy was found as a stray in the sticks of Saluda, SC over a year ago. The woman that found him could not keep him so a family took him in and made him their own. He has lived the last year and half with a family with grandchildren, dogs and lots of people around. He LOVES the kiddos ❤️ of all ages. He is a gentle giant and loves their attention. 😞 Sadly, things changed for Buddy recently. His dad owner passed away and his widow is now also facing caring for her adult child with an unexpected critical diagnosis. She is physically not able to care for him. He needs a new home NOW! The only choice the owner is facing is to euthanize because a shelter will do it as well and she doesnt want that for him. Not one person has resoonded to our pleas and offered to foster or adopt. ‼️ So before you blame, help place him. He has been through so much and will be a great addition to a family that will give him patience to adjust to all the changes and losses. He did well with the transition into his recent home when he was found, so this may be easier than most. He is super sweet. ♥️ Buddy gets along with other dogs. He does well with females and may do well with altered males his size. He and an unaltered male got into a tussle over a bunny, and when Buddy wouldn’t let go, his eye was injured. He has lost vision in that eye, yet he is in no pain. The vet recommended not to remove his eye, as it would be less painful and traumatic, and it also tracks with his other eye. He is healed and it gives him no trouble. The little scratch below his eye is a new boo-boo and it is healing. That dog will continue to harm him if he stays. This goofy couch 🥔 is a BIG BABY who pretends to be a guard dog. Remember the movie The Sand Lot? That’s Buddy! He is low key and loves cuddles and belly rubs. He will snuggle you in bed to make sure you don’t fall out or get cold 🥶. He will do best in a home without cats or small dogs. He would love to have children there to give him attention. Obviously he loves treats. 😆 He is on a mission to lose a few pounds and asks that you go slow and not cut his treats out too quickly! Buddy is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and in good health. He does well on his leash, is house trained, non-destructive, loves to ride, and doggy door smart.
