Project Salvador aids the people of El Salvador in implementing their own vision of justice. We are involved in many projects which assist the Salvadoran people. Support of grassroots community development through funding of projects affecting over 3000 people in 40 communities throughout El Salvador. Ongoing projects include microlending with women's committees in 30 communities in rural Cuscatlan including start up funds of up to $2500 per community for microcredit loans and ongoing training and technical assistance, trainings for women in agriculture, reproductive rights and domestic violence prevention in rural Cuscatlan, community radio in rural Cabanas, three community organizing projects supporting access to health care in Sonsonate, potable water in Panchimalco, and education in Chalatenango, and scholarships for 10 high school and college students, a community clinic and a school in Cuscatlan.
