What a great SCRABBLE Tournament for Literacy we had on Friday, August 8, 2025! We had twenty teams signed up, but unfortunately, a few were unable to attend, but they still offered their support allowing us to raise almost $20,000!!! Here are the results of the tournament! Overall Rankings from highest score to lowest: H-E-B with a whopping 7686 Kleberg Bank came in with a score of 5908 Sarita School rounded out the top three with a score of 4247 the other teams came in 4th Literacy Supporters of the City of Kingsville 5th Literacy Supporters of Ricardo ISD 6th Los Mestenos Career Academy 7th St. Gertrude 8th Methodist Healthcare Ministries 9th End Domestic Violence Task Force 10th Riviera 2 11th SGISD 12th Riviera 1 13th Christus Spohn 14th H&O/Robert J. Kleberg Public Library 15th First Community A big thank you to the Brush Country Pregnancy Resource Center, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Coastal Bend College, and Kingsville Independent School District for supporting but not being able to make the event.
