You know what, when and how to grow for optimal flavor. You have professional experience planning, managing, growing and harvesting organic vegetables for a wide range of customers. You are experienced in all the essential areas of organic, diversified vegetable production from seeding, transplanting and crop planning, to pest/disease identification and risk mitigation. You are experienced in setting up, trouble-shooting and managing irrigation systems. You enjoy teaching and connecting with other people. You are down-to-earth, personable and able to engage with people from all walks of life. From participants with English language barriers to a week of day campers (ages 6-11 mostly) to cultivating relationships with our dedicated CSA customers and philanthropic donors – you can flex your social skills for different audiences and spread your love of food, community and nature to kids and adults of all ages and stripes. You are a flexible, seasoned professional who is attracted to the MAKE vision and strategy. You know how to manage complex schedules, meet deadlines successfully and plan your workflow.
