Jan. 22, 2022 - By partnering with ATA-NCC (the American Turkish Association- NC Charlotte Chapter), on January 22, 2022, Heart-2-Heart and ATA-NC volunteers ventured to the Hope House Foundation campus for a day of cooking Turkish cuisine alongside Hope House residents. With foods like pilaf, cheese pita, lamaghun, tzatziki, baklava, Turkish Delight, Turkish coffee, chocolate puddings, a chocolate/ biscuit mosaic cake, and köfte, we all had a wonderful time not only cooking but eating our ethnic creations!
