What Makes SCS Different? We are a community built by parents. Shoreline Christian School is parent-run, parent-owned, and often parent-taught. - Parent Involvement: 65% of our staff are parents of current or former students or even alumni themselves. - Parent Leadership: Our School Board is made up of dedicated parents. - Parent Ownership: The school is owned by the Christian School Society of Seattle, a group of current and former parents. Each spring we send out a parent survey to get the pulse of our community and hear what they think is going well and what we need to work on. Over the summer we go through this survey as we plan for the next school year and make changes to continue to improve what we offer our families.
