Out of the Ashes of the Ranch Fire AKA Mendocino Complex Fire and then two failed ballot measures that could have increased funding for the Northshore Fire Protection District came the. Northshore Fire Fund Why we created this nonprofit organization EVOLVING WITH THE TIMES Northshore faces a growing challenge as it evolves to meet the changing needs of our community with a significant decrease in government funds. The Northshore demographics are very diverse the district landscape is demanding and the increased traffic on our roads impact fire district preparation and response. Additional funds are critical to keep up with these changes helps with the cost to operate and acquires technologies gear or training not in the budget of the District.
