Check out Louie Bieser, the 6th-generation on his family’s ranch in Plateau Valley, holding a Northern Leopard Frog. These frogs were once common throughout the state but have declined due to habitat loss, climate variations, and the introduction of invasive species. They rely on clean, connected wetlands and streams to survive just like the ones found on the newly conserved Bieser Ranch. Thanks to Louie’s grandparents, over 600 acres of agricultural land and critical wildlife habitat are now permanently protected. Conservation helps preserve the land and wildlife that call it home.
