I recently completed certifications in Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C awareness and treatment. These trainings gave me a better understanding of how these viruses affect patients, especially those already dealing with kidney disease. The goal was simple: to be more informed, ask better questions, and offer stronger support to the people and families we work with through Voices for Kidney Patients. I’ve always believed that advocacy starts with learning. Whether it’s helping someone understand their test results or guiding them toward the right care, having accurate knowledge matters.
