Thirteen Brooklyn-based Asian American small businesses are receiving a digital marketing boost thanks to $2,000 microgrants announced last week by Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, in partnership with National CAPACD member organizations Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE) and Renaissance Economic Development Corporation. These grants will help entrepreneurs modernize their digital presence, reach new customers, and grow their business, a critical investment in local resilience and AA economic empowerment. OurNeighborhoods is a network of Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander AA and NHPI grassroots organizations committed to addressing the issue of gentrification through neighborhood organizing. We build power with lowincome AA and NHPI residents and youth who have been directly impacted by displacement.
