Join us at the farm this Saturday for a day of hands on learning as we plant trees and shrubs to serve as a protective windbreak for our high tunnels! Paul Patterson a professor emeritus from Penn State University will lead us through his windbreak design process and implementation strategy. The cost is $10 which includes a complimentary lunch. This event hosted by the Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable Agriculture will run 9am-3pm. You can sign up at pasafarming.org/events. See you this weekend! 🌲🌳 (fb)

We are a neighborhood resource that grows food grows farmers and grows community in the Hilltop neighborhoods. We envision urban neighborhoods where fresh abundant healthy food sustains community. Hilltop Urban Farm Vision Statement Programs Located on 107 acres of land with 23 acres dedicated to farming it is a multipronged initiative that produces locallygrown crops provides agriculturebased education generates entrepreneurial opportunities and strengthens communities. Hilltop Urban Farm is set to transform the land it currently occupies.
