We’d like to give a special thanks to Central Neighborhood Christian Health Clinics for once again being a strong advocate for those in need of mental health services at the Long Beach Rescue Mission. Their weekly visits are vital to the overall well-being and success of the individuals we serve. The emotional toll of homelessness adds yet another layer of challenges to an already heavy burden. Our Work In Greater Long Beach Hot Meals Nearly 650 meals served each day to those in immediate need Safe Shelter Over 160 stays each day in our emergency sheltersfor men women children Life Change Programs 70 men women transforming rebuilding their lives on average Learning Centers Over 50000 hours oflife skills career training Chapel Services Regularly scheduled worship services that givepeople a solid foundation for stable lives Support Our Work A hot meal for a homeless man woman or child is just 2. 43.
