IMPACT FRIENDS IMProving Allegany County Trails IMPACT a 501c3 nonprofit charitable organization mobilizes volunteers to improve public forest trails in Allegany County for the yearround use and enjoyment of hikers horseback riders skiers campers. The mission of IMPACT is to conserve improve and advocate for yearround access to public trails and greenways in Allegany County. We provide a voice for all Allegany County trails users landowners and businesses who benefit from the development and maintenance of highquality yearround multiuse trails. We work closely with local Foresters in the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation DEC under a Volunteer Stewardship Agreement.
