Friends of Santa Claus Friends of Santa Claus FRIENDS OF SANTA CLAUS Friends of Santa Claus Friends of Santa Claus is a nonprofit organization that provides emotional and financial support to children with cancer and their families. Founded in 1993 in Hendersonville North Carolina by Ted and Barbara Van Thullenar Friends of Santa Claus serves families throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. Since the programs inception we have been committed to maintaining our status as an overwhelmingly volunteer based organization. We have 12 hands on hard working volunteer board members who serve on our board for one reason they love the kids.
