The Mobile Produce Pantry visited Orleans last week, giving out fresh fruit and vegetables under smoky skies. In addition to our regular pop-up pantry, we brought 75 emergency boxes and extra bulk produce, which was distributed by the Salmon River Restoration Council to residents affected by the #ButlerFire and #OrleansComplex. Our Vision Food for People the Food Bank for Humboldt County is working to eliminate hunger and improve the health and wellbeing of our community through access to healthy and nutritious foods community education and advocacy.
